Tryouts for 9th - 11th Graders

All athletes must show an active AAU membership at tryout check-in (aauvolleyball.org)

7/12/25 11U-14U TRYOUTS

Date: 7/12/2025
Time: 8:30AM - 10:30AM
Place: Maryville Academy in Des Plaines
Check-in is in the Steven's Center

Tryouts for incoming 8th Graders and Younger

14U: 8th grade
13U: 7th grade
12U: 6th grade
11U: 5th grade

All athletes trying out must show proof of valid AAU* or USAV** membership.

Please bring your own water bottle. Stanley-style open straw water bottles will not be allowed in the gym.

Maryville Academy does not have air conditioning in the gym. Please dress appropriately & bring water.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch the tryout in the Steven's Center. No recording or photography during the tryout.

Season starts the 2nd week of September and ends in mid-March.

15U: 9th grade (freshmen)

15U season starts after the IHSA season and ends the beginning of May unless your team is participating in AAU or USAV nationals which will be determined in February 2026. All Elite teams will be participating in a National event.

15U: 9th grade (freshmen)
16U: 10th grade (sophomore)
17U: 11th grade (junior)
18U: 12th grade (senior)
